Kuwait Tourist Visa
• Visa Required
• Submit your valid, signed Passport, must have six months remaining validity and contain at least one blank visa page
• 2 Fully Completed Visa Application Forms
• 2 Passport photographs
• Copy of round trip travel itinerary or airline tickets
• Copy of hotel reservation
• For Non-U.S. Citizens: A copy of Alien Registration Card (Green Card), or copy of Valid U.S. Visa is also required
• Completed Ambassador Passport and Visa Cover Letter
Student Visa:
• Visa Required
• Submit your valid, signed Passport, must have six months remaining validity and contain at least one blank visa page.
• 2 Fully Completed Visa Application Forms.
• 2 Passport photographs
• Police Clearance of No Criminal Record obtained from the: Federal Bureau of Investigation – FBI, and should be dated after the issuance date of the Work Permit. The Police Clearance has to be certified first by the U.S. State Department in Washington, DC. (We can assist you with this certification process with Dept. of State, please contact an Ambassador Passport and Visa consultant at 310-828-7878.) The Police Clearance has to be certified first by the U.S. State Department in Washington, DC, then legalized by the Consulate with a $25.00 Authentication fee. The Authenticated Police Clearance should be presented to the Kuwaiti Authorities for residency purposes.
• Health Certificate: Obtained from the local doctor certifying that the patient is in good health and free from contagious diseases. Lab test results for the following: HIV, Hepatitis B & C, Malaria, Filariasis, Syphilis and Chest X-Ray for Tuberculosis.
• The Student Permit
• For Non-U.S. Citizens: A copy of Alien Registration Card (Green Card), or copy of Valid U.S. Visa is also required
• Completed Ambassador Passport and Visa Cover Letter
Kuwait Business Visa
• Visa Required
• Submit your valid, signed Passport, must have six months remaining validity and contain at least one blank visa page.
• 2 Fully Completed Visa Application Form.
• 2 Passport photographs
• Copy of round trip travel itinerary or airline tickets
• Copy of hotel reservation
• A business letter of responsibility is required, to be typewritten on your company letterhead and addressed to Kuwait Consulate General, Visa Section. The letter must state all of the following:
-The nature of the business performed
-The name, address and telephone number of the business reference to be visited
-Guarantee sufficient financial support for the visit
-Guarantee return transportation to the USA. The business letter should be written and signed someone other than the visa applicant
• For Non - US Citizens: A copy of Green Card or Legal Status in United States should also be submitted
• Completed Ambassador Passport and Visa Cover Letter
Work Visa:
• Visa Required

Applicants going for employment, in addition to the above work visa requirements, should also submit the following:
- Government Contract: copy of Letter of Appointment from Kuwait.
- If employed by Private Sector: Work Permit issued by the General Department of Immigration Affairs in Kuwait. (If spouse or family members are accompanying applicant, Work permit, No Objection Certificate or Letter of Appointment must indicate that).

The consular Fee is only payable by Money Order or Cashier check (which Ambassador Passport can obtain on your behalf)

There will be additional fees if legalization, authentication or certification is required.
There is a $20.00 charge to obtain Money orders
