Second Valid U.S. Passport

A second valid passport is for travelers usually for one or more of the following reasons:

  • Need to obtain visas while traveling abroad, or are trying to obtain multiple visas which will take longer to obtain than their travel date.
  • Are traveling between multiple countries that are politically sensitive or have restrictive entry requirements, making it impossible to complete the trip using just one passport.
