Passport Services in Newport Beach, California
Some Newport Beach clients come to Ambassador Passport and Visa Services months before a trip. Others call once travel is already booked. Either way, expedited U.S. passport processing is available in as little as 2 business days. Call 800-826-4558 for current pricing, the services on offer, and processing times.
There is a practical reason Ambassador Passport and Visa Services does not mail applications out. Its registration with the U.S. Department of State as an expeditor and courier, listed on their website, allows applications to be hand carried for processing instead, which keeps your documents out of the mail where they could otherwise be lost. Call us and our team will confirm what your application requires and what happens next.
HOW IT WORKS FOR NEWPORT BEACH, CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS
Step 1: Contact an Ambassador Passport and Visa Services representative. Please call 800-826-4558 to discuss turnaround times, pricing, and the requirements you will need to bring to our office, or send to us. Our team will review the requirements and next steps. Certain applications, including new passports, lost passports, damaged passports, and passports for children, require the DS-11 application to be executed in person in front of an Acceptance Agent before processing begins. Please call us at 800-826-4558 for assistance with this step.
Step 3: Ambassador Passport and Visa Services will hand-carry your application into the U.S. Department of State.
Step 4: Upon completion of processing, you will receive notification of the status of your passport. Once the passport is issued, Newport Beach clients can arrange to pick it up at our office or have it returned by FedEx or other tracked overnight courier service, depending on the type of service selected.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS — NEWPORT BEACH, CALIFORNIA
Where can I get an expedited passport in Newport Beach?
Ambassador Passport and Visa Services takes expedited U.S. passport applications from Newport Beach residents, including renewals, first-time applications, and replacements. Processing can run as short as 2 business days when availability allows. Call 800-826-4558 to confirm pricing and which option suits your trip.
What is the fastest way to get a passport?
Two business days is the quickest. Beyond that there is Ultra Rush at 4–5 business days, Rush at 7–8, and Express at 10–12. Processing begins the first business day after all your documents and requirements have been received. Call 800-826-4558 and we will confirm what is open for your dates.
Do I need to apply in person?
That follows from the application. Renewals can simply be sent in. A first passport, a replacement for one lost, stolen or damaged, or a passport for a child under 16 includes one in-person step, where the DS-11 is executed in front of an Acceptance Agent. Ambassador handles the arrangements. Call 800-826-4558 to confirm.
What do I need for a passport renewal?
The form is DS-82, and what it requires is your current U.S. passport and two passport photos from the last six months. Travel proof is optional; include an itinerary, hotel booking, or business letter if you have one. If your passport is over 15 years old or was issued before you were 16, we will set up an Acceptance Agent appointment for you. Call 800-826-4558.
How do I apply for a first-time passport or a child’s passport?
Form DS-11 is the application for both, and in both cases it has to be executed in person in front of an Acceptance Agent before processing begins. Ambassador can assist with that appointment. The government fee is $225.00 for adults over 16 and $195.00 for minors under 16, due at the time of execution. Call 800-826-4558 for the full list of what to bring.
What happens if my passport is lost, stolen, or damaged?
Each is replaced rather than renewed, and each includes an in-person execution in front of an Acceptance Agent that Ambassador arranges. A damaged passport takes this route while it is still valid; once expired, it is handled as a new application. Call 800-826-4558 and we will review your options.
Can I have a second U.S. passport?
In limited circumstances, yes. The second document goes by several names, including extra passport, additional passport, and duplicate passport, and Ambassador handles both first applications and renewals of one you already hold. Clients who would rather not manage the process themselves can use our Concierge Passport Service, the highest level of one-to-one service we offer. Call 800-826-4558 and we will tell you whether your situation qualifies.
