Burundi Tourist Visa
• Visa is required
• Submit your valid U.S. Passport must have at least 6 months remaining validity and one blank Visa page
• 2 Fully completed and signed Visa Application Forms
• 2 Passport photographs
• Copy of round trip airline tickets or travel itinerary
• Copy of hotel reservation
• International Certificate of Vaccination for Yellow Fever
• For Non-U.S. Citizens: A copy of Alien Registration Card (Green Card), or copy of Valid U.S. Visa is also required.
• Completed Cover Letter
Burundi Business Visa
• Visa Required
• Submit your U.S. Passport with at least 6 months remaining validity
• 2 Fully completed and signed Visa Application Forms
• Passport photographs
• International Certificate of Vaccination for Yellow Fever is required
• A business letter of responsibility typewritten on your company letterhead and addressed to: Embassy of Burundi, Visa Section, Washington DC
The letter must state all of the following:
- Nature of business to be performed
- Name and address of reference to be visited
- Guarantee of return transportation and sufficient funds for the visit
- The letter should be signed by an officer of the company other than the applicant
• A business letter of invitation from host company in Burundi.
• Copy of round trip airline tickets or travel itinerary
• Copy of hotel reservation
• International Certificate of Vaccination for Yellow Fever
• For Non-U.S. Citizens: A copy of Alien Registration Card (Green Card), or copy of Valid U.S. Visa is also required.

Regular Processing – 10 to 15 Business Days - $90.00
Rush Processing – 5 to 7 Business Days - $120.00
Ultra Rush Processing - 2 to 3 Business Days - $120.00
The consular Fee is only payable by Money Order or Cashier check (which Ambassador Passport can obtain on your behalf).
Ambassador Passport and Visa Fees
Regular Processing – 10 to 15 Business Days - $180.00
Rush Processing – 5 to 7 Business Days - $220.00
Ultra Rush Processing - 2 to 3 Business Days - $250.00
There is a $20.00 charge to obtain Money orders
Note: There is a 5% charge for all government and consular fees paid by credit or debit cards.
