Benin Tourist Visa
• Visa is required
• U.S. Passport, Passport must be valid 6 months beyond intended stay
• 1 Fully Completed Visa Application Form
• 1 Passport photograph required
• Copy of round trip airline tickets or itinerary and hotel reservation
• For minors under the age of 18, a notarized travel authorization signed by both parents, as well as a copy of minor's birth certificate and copy both parents passports is required.
• International Certificate of Vaccination for Yellow Fever required (not a copy)
• For Non-U.S. Citizens: A copy of Alien Registration Card (Green Card), or copy of Valid U.S. Visa is also required.
• Completed Ambassador Passport and Visa Cover Letter
Benin Business Visa
• Visa is required
• U.S. Passport, Passport must be valid 6 months beyond intended stay
• 1 Fully Completed Visa Application Form
• 1 Passport photograph required
• A business letter of responsibility (sample) is required, to be typewritten on your company letterhead and addressed to:
Embassy of Benin, Visa Section, Washington DC
The letter must explain all of the following: Nature of business to be performed Name and address of reference to be visited Guarantee of return Transportation and sufficient funds for the visit.
The letter should be signed by an officer of the company other than the applicant

Consular fees are payable by money order only (which Ambassador Passport and Visa can purchase on your behalf)
Ambassador Passport and Visa Fees
Regular Processing - 8 to 12 Business Days - $160.00
Rush Processing - 5 to 7 Business Days - $200.00
Ultra Rush Processing - 2 to 3 Business Days - $250
There will be an additional $20 to obtain money orders
Note: There is a 5% charge for all government and consular fees paid by credit or debit cards.
