At this time, a visa is required for US and non US citizens for any type of visit (tourist or business) to the country of Thailand

Thailand Tourist Visa

• Visa is required
• Submit your valid signed Passport (must be valid 6 months beyond intended stay)
• 1 Fully completed Visa Application Form:

• 2 Passport Photographs
• Declaration form (Download)
• Medical insurance guaranteeing that the insurance company will cover a minimum of 100,000 USD (or equivalent in other currencies) of medical costs incurred by the applicant in Thailand, including medical costs in the event that the applicant contracts COVID-19 (The insurance must cover the whole duration of stay in Thailand)
• A confirmation of booking of Alternative State Quarantine: Click here for the list of alternative quarantine hotels and locations
• A Copy of round trip flight itinerary or airline tickets.  Please note: Your flight must be purchased through one of the following Thailand government approved airlines / agents:  Click here for the list of approved agencies.
• Copy of recent bank statement ($700 per person and $1,500 per family).  The name of the applicant must be indicated clearly), In case of submitting a family bank statement, proof of relationship (i.e. birth certificate, marriage certificate) must be provided.
• For Non-U.S. Citizens: A copy of Alien Registration Card (Green Card), or copy of Valid U.S. Visa is also required.

For minors under 20 years old, please provide the following documents

– Copy of a birth certificate
– Copy of marriage certificate, In case of sole custody notarized copy of the court order, must be provided.
– Copy of passports or ID of mother and father/ legal guardian
– Original letter of notarized consent for the minor to travel abroad from mother and father/ legal guardian
***All supporting materials that are not in English must be accompanied by certified English translations and certified by an embassy only ***

• In addition to the above, a completed Ambassador Passport and Visa Cover Letter must also
be submitted


Additional Documents
At the departure airport, the approved visa applicant is required to present:

• A COE “Certificate of Entry”, which Ambassador Passport and Visa will obtain on your behalf as part of the Thailand visa process.
• A “Health Certificate”, Fit to Fly, issued no more than 72 hours before departure (normally issued by a physician), as well as a Medical certificate with a laboratory result indicating that COVID -19 is not detected, issued no more than 72 hours before departure.
• Medical insurance or letter from employer guaranteeing that the insurance company or employer will cover a minimum of 100,000 US dollars (or equivalent in other currencies) of medical costs incurred by the applicant in Thailand, including medical costs in the event that applicant contracts COVID-19 (The insurance must cover the whole duration of stay in Thailand); and

 Upon entry to Thailand
Travelers arriving in Thailand during the COVID-19 pandemic must present the following documents
to be granted entry:

• A COE - Certificate of Entry (which Ambassador Passport and Visa will obtain for you as part of the Thailand Visa application process
• Declaration form (Download)
• A “Health Certificate”, Fit to Fly, issued no more than 72 hours before departure (normally issued by a physician), as well as a Medical certificate with a laboratory result indicating that COVID -19 is not detected, issued no more than 72 hours before departure.
• Medical insurance guaranteeing that the insurance company will cover a minimum of 100,000 US dollars (or equivalent in other currencies) of medical costs incurred by the applicant in Thailand, including medical costs in the event that the applicant contracts COVID-19 (The insurance must cover the whole duration of stay in Thailand)

If granted entry, a traveler must go through 14 days of Alternative State Quarantine

Thailand Business Visa

• Visa is required

• A business letter of responsibility written on your US company letterhead and addressed to: Consulate General of Thailand. The letter must state all of the following:
- Nature of business to be performed
- Business reference in Thailand to be visited
- Company guarantee of financial responsibility for the applicant, and their return transportation
- The letter should be signed by a company employee other than the applicant

• An invitation letter from host company or organization in Thailand.

The consular Fee is only payable by Money Order or Cashier check (which Ambassador Passport can obtain on your behalf)
